Sahil Majeed is a passionate Quality and Food Safety professional with a keen interest in exploring the latest possibilities in addressing the challenges in food safety, food fraud, authenticity, and food security. With 18 years of dedicated experience in the food industry, Sahil has worked in various sectors, including dairy, juice production, confectionaries, beverages, and water. He has conducted over 1000 food safety audits, including GFSI-approved schemes like FSSC22000 and BRC, and has also worked on government projects for food certification, such as Emirates quality mark and Halal.
Sahil has led several high-profile projects, including the Food Safety Design for Workforce Catering at the World Expo 2020 Dubai, the Zomato Hygiene Rating Program, and the development of a Covid-19 Precaution Assessment Scheme. He was also a project lead for the Emirates Quality Mark, which involved developing and implementing quality and safety standards Audits for regulated food products in the UAE.
As a keynote speaker and panelist, Sahil shares his expertise and insights on food defense, food fraud, food safety culture, and digitalization in food safety management systems.
